2018 Mystery Quilt, led by Peg Dougherty

The mystery quilt is a year long project at the end of which you will have pieced a entire quilt top that is ready to quilt. The catch is, you don’t know for sure what you are piecing. You get a list of fabric suggestions and quantities you need at the beginning of the year, and cutting instructions. Then at each monthly meeting, starting in Jan. you get instructions for piecing sections of the quilt.

The quilt sections increase and grow, until you get final construction instructions to finish your quilt top around October or November so that it can be shown at an end of the year meeting. It is always exciting to see the same quilt instructions that result in many different looks. This year, 2018, the size of the quilt can be made from a lap (throw) size up to queen size by altering the number of sections you make.
