Her collections of over 200 quilts focuses on pre-1850 chintz and applique\, crib\, redwork\, and early 20th Century designer quilts. Jill takes a “new” finish for an old quilt. She has mastered the art of machine quilting & design and applies it to vintage quilt tops as she finds and collects them. Some are taken apart and redone for aesthetic value. Some are quilted “as is”. Her collection of “Forgotten Treasures” was displayed at the PA National Quilt Extravaganza in 2024. I expect they will take your breath away. She is a member of The York Quilters’ Guild. In 2007\, her quilt\, Bella\, was the top winner in the $100\,000 Quilting Challenge and was featured on NBC’s “Today” show. Bella was whole-cloth quilt\, not pieced together\, so the design comes entirely from quilting.
