Guild Meeting – “Not Just for Mother’s Day” lecture by Eleanor Levie

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Pre-meeting:

Arrive early if you like, to sit and sew with friends or spend time socializing.

6:30 p.m. – Program:

 In April, QOL can look forward to a lecture by Eleanor Levie https://www.eleanorlevie.com/. Originally from Baltimore, she is now a Philadelphia girl.  Eleanor is known to bring her diverse and innovative techniques- as well as her own eclectic ideas and designs to all of her trunk shows and workshops. The lecture will be “Not Just for Mother’s Day”.

There will also be a 3 ½ hour workshop that day. The workshop will be “Weave a Quilt with Me”. No sewing machine is needed!! Only a spirit of Adventure. In this playful workshop, you’ll weave with fabric strips and ribbons, to make a Skinny Quilt /table runner, wall hanging or art quilt, album cover, pillow top, Christmas Stocking, or project of any size. Along the way you’ll really hone your design skill which you’ll apply to everything you do.

At this time, the workshop will probably start at 10 am. and the cost will be approximately $20.00. Please reach out to Sharon McKnight if  you have interest to hold your spot.

Around 8:15 p.m. – Show & Tell:

Every meeting features a “Show & Tell” time. Bring your finished quilts to display, with the opportunity to show and talk about it to the guild. We LOVE seeing quilts and especially enjoy the stories that go with the quilts!
