2026 Brandywine Valley Quilt Retreat

2026 Brandywine Valley Quilt Retreat

April 30, 2026 – May 3, 2026

Eden Resort, Lancaster, PA

Hello!  We have 6 spots available and would love to meet some new friends!  Come join us! Total cost for non-members is $260.  Includes 6 meals, amazing door prizes and lots of fun!

Most of the details for this year’s retreat are the same as prior years:

  • We have 55 spots available, which we anticipate filling with guild members. If we have spots available after all guild members have registered, we will open to nonguild members.
  • We will be collecting deposits and forms at the August guild meeting and would love to get this step out of the way as soon as possible.

Once we receive all the deposits and forms, we will send out a survey to get your input about food preferences. We want to accommodate as many requests/preferences as possible! Please keep in mind that our menu selections will directly impact the cost of the retreat. The survey will try to gauge food preferences with what everyone is willing to spend. And like just about everything else, food costs at the hotel have really skyrocketed and so we probably will need to spend a little more next year no matter what we choose. The hotel policy is that final prices for menu selections are only available 90 days prior to the event. We’ll be able to provide the final cost for the retreat as soon as we lock in our final food selections and prices.

Second, volunteers are the glue that holds this event together, and we are looking forward to hearing from all of you about what you are interested in helping with (sewing for swag bags, door prizes, etc.) Many people have already volunteered, but we don’t want to miss anyone. We’ll include a question about this in the upcoming survey, and in addition, you can let Tea, Susan or Jean know. We will also have sign-up sheets at the guild meetings. We’ll be recapping all of this and other exciting details at the August guild meeting. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact:

QOL 2026 Quilt Raffle

“Sparkling Stars and Stripes” Quilt was made to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence beginning the 250-year journey of the United States of America. The front of the Quilt is a Quilt of Valor Pattern named “Stars and Stripes” which was expanded to 94” x 94”.

The red and blue fabrics were carefully chosen to coordinate yet yield a scrappy look indicative of the pioneers who founded this country and the spirit of perseverance that helped to build this great country. Construction of both quilt tops used nearly 400 hours of time. “United We Stand” quilting pattern married both quilt tops.

The quilt tops were pieced by Ruth Anne Snyder. Machine quilted by Sharon McKnight and a hand stitched binding by Melody DeGraziano.

This spectacular Patriotic Quilt will WOW any veteran and spouse. It will serve as a centerpiece wherever it is placed in your home.

Quilting on the Line Quilt Guild hopes that this quilt will stand the test of time, just as our ancestors did when starting out on the American Experience.
