Meeting Agenda

5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  Pre-meeting:

Arrive early if you like, to sit and sew with friends or spend time socializing.

Member Led Workstations:

Learn something new from your fellow guild members.  Visit every station for a variety of new skills.

    1. “Bowl Cozies”– Melody DeGrazio
      Melody DeGrazio is one of most generous quilters in our guild. She will share with you how to make bowl cozies. As she has said “I can do them in my sleep”. For our new members, Melody always can share a positive outlook and a smile.

    2. “How to Finish a Pillow with a Zipper”– Alice Steele
      Alice is known for her love of bright, happy colors, much like her charismatic personality. For our new members, “her work”, is what we all want to level up too.

    3. “Paper Piecing”– Sherry Burkins
      Sherry is known for being extremely precise. Sherry participates in craft shows, selling her bench pillows and other wonderfully done items. For our new member’s, take a close look at Sherry’s beautiful work. Sherry is a very strong resource for quilting questions on techniques.

    4. “Slow Stitching”– Kathleen Kellar
      Kathleen is always working on something unique and interesting. She also belongs to zoom groups that focus on hand work. For our new members, Kathleen is known for her “tips” to help along your quilting journey.

    5. “Easy Flying Geese”– Sue Hannah
      Brought back by popular demand, Sue’s technique for flying geese will save you tons of time. Sue headed our “workshops” in the past. For our new members, Sue is always friendly, helpful and fun to laugh with.
       
Around 7:45 p.m. – Business Meeting
Around 8:15 p.m. – Show & Tell:

Every meeting features a “Show & Tell” time. Bring your finished quilts to display, with the opportunity to show and talk about it to the guild. We LOVE seeing quilts and especially enjoy the stories that go with the quilts!
